Youth Protection Policy
AICKYWAY (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has established and implements the following Youth Protection Policy in accordance with the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection" and the "Youth Protection Act" to help young people grow into healthy individuals and protect them from harmful information.
The Company will inform you of the measures being taken to protect youth through this Youth Protection Policy, and promises to continuously improve it in accordance with relevant laws and social changes.
Article 1 (Definition and Scope of Harmful Information to Youth)
In this policy, "harmful information to youth" refers to information defined as harmful to young people under relevant laws such as the "Youth Protection Act," and specifically includes content falling under each of the following categories. The Company strictly prohibits the creation, posting, and distribution of such content.
- Sexual/Obscene Information: Information containing obscene content such as sexual acts, bodily exposure, sexual abuse, or information that stimulates sexual curiosity and hinders the healthy growth of young people
- Violent/Cruel Information: Information depicting or promoting cruel acts such as violence, murder, injury, or abuse that hinders the healthy character development of young people
- Gambling Information: Information promoting gambling and similar activities that hinder a healthy work ethic
- Antisocial/Unethical Information: Information glorifying or promoting antisocial behavior such as crime or drug abuse that may distort the values of young people
- Other Harmful Information: Information that clearly poses a risk to the mental and physical health of young people, including discrimination, hatred, promotion of suicide/self-harm, privacy violations, and copyright infringement
Article 2 (Special Policy on AI-Generated Content)
The Company pays special attention to protect young people from AI-generated content falling under the following categories, considering the characteristics of AI image generation services.
- Sexual depictions of minors resembling real persons: Content sexually depicting subjects that may be perceived as real persons or specific individuals in the form of minors, even if not realistic images
- Combination of keywords suggesting minors with adult keywords: Attempting to generate harmful content by using words suggesting minors together with words implying sexual acts, exposure, violence, etc. in AI prompts
- Harmful material using synthesis technology such as deepfakes: Content that defames reputation or causes sexual shame by synthesizing others' faces or bodies without consent
Article 3 (Technical and Administrative Measures for Youth Protection)
The Company implements the following multi-faceted protection measures to prevent exposure to harmful information for young people.
- Pre-blocking at upload stage:
- Prohibited word filtering: Content creation is blocked or posting is restricted when keywords, tags, or prompts related to harmful information are included.
- AI-based image analysis: Uploaded images are analyzed using AI technology to detect harmful elements such as obscenity and violence in real-time and automatically filter them.
- Continuous monitoring during distribution:
- Human monitoring: Dedicated personnel continuously monitor major service areas to immediately delete and take action against harmful information upon discovery.
- Community reporting system: All users can immediately report harmful information when discovered, and reported content is processed as a priority.
- Exposure method restrictions:
- Safe search feature: A SafeSearch option is provided that prevents harmful or sensitive content from appearing in search results if the user wishes.
- Thumbnail safety: Thumbnails of potentially sensitive images are blurred to minimize direct exposure.
- Youth protection education: Regular training on youth protection laws and responsibilities is conducted at least once a year for all employees.
Article 4 (Designation and Operation of Youth Protection Officer)
The Company has designated and operates the following Youth Protection Officer and working-level staff to oversee youth protection activities and handle related complaints. Article 5 (Guidance for Guardian Cooperation)
We ask parents and guardians to make the following efforts for their children's healthy internet usage habits at home.
- Please install harmful information blocking software on your child's computer and smartphone to block harmful environments.
- Through conversations with your children, help them recognize both the benefits and dangers of the internet and guide them on proper usage.
- If your child is exposed to harmful information, help them deal with it properly through conversation rather than scolding.
Addendum
This Youth Protection Policy shall be effective from September 1, 2025.
